Safety notes • .....Danger of electric shocks and fire hazard Connect and operate the appliance as directed on the type plate. Children or persons whose physical, sensory or mental capacity does not guarantee safe usage should not be permitted to operate the appliance without assistance or supervision. Children under the age of 12 years should not use the appliance at all. Not to be used on infants To be used only if the lead and appliance are undamaged. Remove the plug after use. Unplug the appliance immediately in the event of a fault. On safety grounds, repairs to the appliance, for example the replacement of a damaged lead, must only be carried out by our customer service experts. The lead must not – be allowed to come into contact with hot components – be pulled across sharp edges – be used as a handle. Heat-insensitive persons should not use the heating function. Do not use in the vicinity of water contained in baths, washbasins or other similar vessels. • .....Risk of death Do not allow the appliance to come into contact with water. Danger also exists when the appliance is switched off, and the plug should be removed after use and when usage is interrupted. Do not apply pressure during use, and do not concentrate for too long on the same part of the body. Massage using small circular movements. Usage . Loosen the handle 3 with the press- button 4, and lock in the desired position. . By turning the head 1, select the massage surface a, b, c or d. Allow to lock in place according to the Ў markings. . Set the desired vibration strength with the slider switch 5. . Massage the selected part of the body. To switch off, return the slider switch 5 to the 0 position. Function of the massage surfaces a Oval massage surface: Due to the oval form, the massage pressure is concentrated as with the human thumb. Set to Level 1 and use with gentle pressure. b Broad massage surface: This massage surface is suitable for larger areas such as shoulders and the buttocks. Here, massaging can employ Level 2 and somewhat firmer pressure. c Ribbed massage surface: The ribbed massage surface is recommended for a calming, gentle massage. Level 1 used in conjunction with gentle pressure is suitable for sensitive areas such as arms. d Massage surface with nodules: The nodules effect a deep massage, and are particularly suitable for large groups of muscles, for example in the back and the buttocks. Info: Activating the heat function with the switch 6 intensifies the massage effect for massage surface b. The indicator light 7 comes on. The surface takes a couple of minutes to warm up. Cleaning and storage • .....Danger of electric shock! Before cleaning, unplug and allow the appliance to cool down. Never immerse the appliance in water. Do not use steam cleaners. . Simply wipe the exterior of the appliance with a damp cloth and dry. Do not use any sharp objects or scourers to clean the unit. When it has cooled down, store the massage appliance in a clean, dry place.
